Artwork guidelines.
At The Printing Lab, we want your final items to look as good as they possibly can. To help make this a reality, we ask that you follow our artwork submission guidelines when submitting a design to us:
•Art must be raster-based (Adobe Photoshop, JPG, etc.) at a minimum of 300 DPI or vector-based (Adobe Illustrator, EPS, etc.)
•Art should be created in proportion to the desired final print size (A 12” wide print would have art sized 12” wide at 300 DPI)
•Original layered Photoshop files (.PSD) are preferred over JPGs or TIFs. Please avoid merging layers in Photoshop or rasterizing fonts.
•Please do not take low-quality artwork (e.g. 72 DPI) and resample it to 300 DPI in Photoshop or a similar program. This leads to degradation in quality. If you do not have access to high-quality original artwork, your artwork will likely need to be recreated. The Printing Lab’s team of designers can help in this effort, though this may incur an additional – yet reasonable – design fee to your order.
Following these guidelines will help ensure your final printed apparel items look the best they can. Additionally, following the above guidelines ensures your order will not incur any additional design fees. The Printing Lab cannot be held responsible for poor print quality when artwork that was submitted to us fell outside of the guidelines above and our offer to recreate the artwork was denied. If you have questions regarding the guidelines or to see if your art falls within the guidelines, please contact us for further clarification.
We price match.
We believe our prices are some of the best in the industry; however, if you have a quote from another company for less, send us the quote (including all the details of the order) and we’ll do everything we can to beat their price.
